2016



Black eyed peas with bacon and collard greens with ham.  That is the way to start the New Year, I am told, and so the peas are soaking, etc.  The old year ended as I turned over the keys to the studio to the new landlord.  The thing was done.  

I went to an early dinner off the Boulevard to my favorite Italian restaurant before the crowd arrived. Ate street side on a gentle evening after a bottle of champagne, then a bottle of Chianti Classico.  Home for a scotch and early bed.  The New Year came as I was sleeping.  

Now to get on with things.  That is the chore.  No resolutions but plenty of good intent.  Fingers crossed.
