It never, ever fails. After vacation, the shoe drops. Everything crashes, breaks, gives out. The only cure, as always, is money. I have an electrician here right now. My breaker boxes need to be changed out. That's what the inspector says. We had a big rain on Sunday, and the roof leaked. . . again. I haven't had it for four years yet. I need a plumber. I have a dental appointment next week, a physical the following. It is beyond time for a colonoscopy. And of course, living in the sunny south, I need a trip to the dermatologist.
Did I tell you about Carmel? Oh, man, it was wonderful. I'll have to write about it sometime. You know. After I drain my bank account and the hurricane comes.
Etc.
I want to tell more interesting stories, but all I have is what is in front of me right now.
And pictures like these. I didn't do a great job making pictures on vacation, but things like this intrigue me. I don't know why, but I can stare at this for a long time.
I have to go out and see what the electrician is doing. It sounds like $$$$$$.
