And so the day itself arrives. Gifts are opened, breakfasts consumed. . . and there is the wait for Christmas dinner. Some are smoking it up, some are drinking, and the kids are playing computer games.
Or not.
If you are not living the Great American Christmas Dream as seen in movies and on t.v. . . . friend. . . Merry Christmas to you, too. It's not all like that, I promise.

ReplyDeleteA friend of mine started a tradition for me. I listen to this song first thing on Christmas morning - when no one else is up and breakfast is getting made. It made me weep this morning - in just the right sublime way.
Revolutionary Press sent me this:
I will love the light for it shows me the way
Yet I will love the darkness for it shows me the stars.
Don't forget to look up tonight.
Happy Christmas Mr. Selah.
