Leaving the house today for awhile. Of course, the weather has some last minute changes. It looks like there will be plenty of rain while I am at the beach. Selavy. You can't control the weather, they say. Who knows what will happen?
My big dilemma is deciding which camera(s) and lens(es) to take. You can't shoot with them all, and I know if you take too many, you don't shoot at all. It will be a last minute decision. No matter. The journey is the. . . is the. . . fuck! I can't remember what the journey is!
I slept terribly last night, of course. That is expected. But the nightmares. . . oy. I won't bore you but to say it was my last night on earth. I outlived it, though. Even in a nightmare.
The cat will have to adapt. My tenant is going to feed her, but the timing may be much different. She stays up all night and sleeps all day. The tenant, I mean. I'm sure that the little monster will be o.k. The cat, I mean. She will either be fine or I will have new cats when I come back. She is not the only feral feline in the neighborhood.
I don't know when I'll be back. I'll try writing from the road, but there may not be any pictures. I can't find my card reader for downloading photos and my AirMac doesn't have a slot. Maybe phone pics. Maybe. All is maybe. You know, like: I might get an early start. Maybe it will rain. My old car might be fine. Maybe I'll find adventure. It might be fun.
Etc. That's the way it is with maybe. You can never be wrong.
I should charge my Kindle.
I'll probably take them all. Cameras, I mean. Film and digital. It should be a real mess.
This is good news. Glad you are getting out among the English. It will do you good. It will do them good. I'm camped out in the crazed section of Florida working in the skin trade. If you find yourself in these parts I have coffee and whiskey. Bon voyage.
